Hmmm. To host on Google App Engine with webapp2 where it lives now or Google Compute Engine with Django? A tough choice. I love Google App Engine, Flask and Django. The only thing holding me back from Django is the template engine. I know I can switch it to Jinja2 but I have had some issues with that. Flask and Jinija2 have worked perfectly for me. Maybe I will just use them all.
Pay no attention to this sites design at the moment. I am in the middle of learning Foundation as a replacement to Bootstrap which was what I used for my origingal site. I have no pressing reason to do this except to learn a new CSS framework that I can add to my design options. Using Foundation also forces me to learn more SASS/CSS since it is not a kitchen sink solution like Bootstrap.
Basically Bootstrap was making me lazy by handling everything for me.
There is also a bunch of functionality missing since I am also rewriting the backend for the site. Currently it is very bare bones and will slowly gain functionality as I complete my testing.
Due to current project engagements Wielding Logic is not accepting new work at this time. If I had the resources Wielding Logic would gladly work with you on your project. Unfortunately I am currently at capacity for the near future and would not be able to give the time and focus required to deliver the level of service that I strive for.
Thank you for your understanding and I look forward to working with new customers in the near future.
